Why is commercial chili powder illegal when it is only chili?

If it is really only chili pepper, like you can buy in NM,

it is okay - if it is a commercial chili spice mixture, it is

very likely to have a non clumping agent in it, which renders

it illegal.

It may be different where you are, but in the US, chili powder contains

powdered chiles and other spices. Commercial spice mixtures are not SCD

legal because they often have illegal additives.

I have no idea why but like McCormick's Chili Powder or any other mixture spasms me out.  I do well with single spice like ancho, chipotle or other spices but the regular chili powder that goes in soups and tacos, chili--kills me.  I think that type is a mixture of several types of chili's so there's an extra amount of something in it--what Marilyn said.

I have talked with to company's here in Norway and they have only grounded

chili.

If there is any anti cacing agent they must write it in the ingredients list.

mccormick's also shares their lines with gluten, so they're not considered safe

for celiacs

That's just the brand name I could think of--I am afraid to try any other brand atm. Too weird since I'm dx'd crohn's and not celiac.

I've read McCormick's should be avoided for celiac.
