Guest guest
Hi Caroline, > In my quest to keep the yeast population down, I have started an anti-fungal protocol. I'm doing GSE for 4 days, then Oil of Oregano for 4 days, then garlic, then Caprylic Acid. I just added Candidase yesterday because I heard it breaks down the yeast cell walls and makes it easier to move those suckers out of there... Just be sure to keep this stuff on rotation and not push your body too much. This can be a lot to handle. > Has anyone ever used Candidase from Enymedica? Is it legal? What kind of dosing did you follow and how long did you use it for? Did it work well for you? > http://www.enzymedica.com/products/Candidase#tabsection It's totally legal. > Also, I bought this caprylic acid from Solaray called Capryl. Can anyone tell me if it is legal? It looks okay to me but I am not a pro at this:) > http://www.drugstore.com/qxp209264_333181_sespider/solaray/capryl_sodium_and_res\ in_free_360_mg.htm Not really sure what Vegetable Fiber means? That would be totally illegal. Check to see if Jarrow or Pure Encapsulations or Now have it. They are usually additive free. Jodi
Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Jodi. I'm trying not to push my body too much, and keep the doses pretty low on the anti-fungals, especially since I have autoimmune hepatitis...and I know that the die-off toxins can be kinda heavy on the liver. I'm not doing anything for liver support at this time. Do you have any suggestions? I want to get rid of the yeast so I can make the transition from Remicade to LDN by the end of the year. Should I use the Candidase enzymes the whole time I am doing the anti-fungals or only when I feel a lot of die-off? What if this protocol takes a few months...can I use it that long? I will find a different source for Caprylic Acid. I am headed to a bigger city than mine this weekend so I will check some of the health food stores there. Pure Encapsulations looks great but I don't know if I can find a health professional to order it for me... I was using Candex recently - and had lots of die off from it - escalating. Which I guess is the point - but it feels terrible. Mara
Guest guest
Mara, So sorry you felt this. That's why I haven't " gone " there. I reckon the years on meds didn't help. You drink any charcoal water when you feel horrible die off? Works really well. Guest guest
Jodi, What is charcoal water? Is it easier to tolerate than capsules? I tried charcoal capsules once all by themselves to see if I could tolerate them, and they gave me stomach cramps that were as bad as the die off. Guest guest
, According to a more Herbal European school of thought on charcoal- it can irritate the mucosal lining. So getting actual charcoal powder and putting some in water and letting the charcoal settle just so that the water has a hue in it- is much much easier on the belly. Does all the action of charcoal in a much much more gentle way. Jodi > > Jodi, > What is charcoal water? Is it easier to tolerate than capsules?
