OFF TOPIC - travelling to San Fran

Hi Everyone

We are making a trip to the UK in March/April and stopping in CA on

the way and on the way back. On the way we are stopping in LA and

going to Disneyland - very briefly (like 1/2 a day!!) but on the way

back my husband wants to do some work in San Fran so we are stopping

there for 2 days. We've never been to San Francisco before. I

wondered if anyone could advise places to stay (family friendly) and

things to do with 2 kids (5 and 2yrs). I want to stay someplace

that is close to the activities we want to do....I've had a look at

various websites about San Fran but am still a little clueless. Any

advice gratefully recieved!!
