It

appears as if the Vitamin E was derived from refined soybean oil or pork; or else

soybean oil is used in the soft gel, the text doesn’t make that entirely

clear.

At

any rate, the supplement should be OK, although there is no guarantee that your

own body will tolerate it. Start slowly with a low dose until you know your

body will accept it.

Using

soybean oil as a cooking oil is a different matter from having Vitamin E

derived from soybean oil. Some people will tolerate it, others won’t

as they are too sensitive to soybeans in any form.

Hopefully

other moderators will also give you their opinion.

I

noticed on the LEGAL KIRKMAN SUPPLEMENTS list that Pro-EFA Omega 3-6-9 &

Borage Oil is legal, but when I checked the ingredients it says it contains

soy. Is this supplement still okay? I'm taking fish oil but would also like to

take Borage oil.

Yes. I stopped breathing when I tried soy protein pre-SCD. Being fond of

breathing, I didn't repeat that experiment.

OTOH, I'm just fine with Vitamin E derived from soy, and with tiny

amounts of soy lecithin.
