Guest guest
Kinnikinnick has a grain-free bread, made with tapioca, pea starch, and pea protein. Has anyone tried this? Is it good? Is it green? I am trying to think if my son will eat it. This is another rice-free bread I am looking at. I like the fact that it has 25 g. of fiber listed per slice; that should keep him pretty clean. Guest guest
We have had the grain-free bread you are talking about and no its not green. Its fairly close to a regular type of white sandwich bread, I thought it tasted pretty good actually. We have also had the donuts, chocolate chip cookies, and graham cookies from kinnikinnick and they were all really good, especially the chocolate chip cookies. > Kinnikinnick has a grain-free bread, made with tapioca, pea starch, and > pea protein. The taste is " neutral " This is our best toasting bread. Doesn't hold up in the lunch box as well as some of our other breads but it's still a good choice if you are looking for rice free. BTW...it doesn't have 25 g of fiber. (that would be 100% of your RDI in every slice!) Not sure where you got that number. Starlight has 0.5g of fiber per slice. ---------------------------------------------- Jay Bigam Marketing and Information Technology Manager Kinnikinnick Foods Inc. www.kinnikinnick.com Toll Free: 1-
