Guest guest
Nick, When I was researching surgeons for my DS, Dr Ren was the second surgeon I called. The secretary was very nice and she patched me through to Dr. Ren after answering some pre-lim questions. The conversation with Dr. Ren went well up until I mentioned the insurance I had, she abruptly said " I dont take your insurance and said goodbye " . Before I got to say goodbye I was listening to a dial tone! Lisbeth I appreciate that she may have the greatest bedside manner. Personally, I am more concerned with a surgeon's ability to do the surgery that I have chosen. however caring she may appear when first met. ---------------------------------
Guest guest
I was actually a bit amazed. Because I knew she was out-of-network and I had already called my insurance company and they said they would only cover 70% if I had my surgery with her. (And that was when I called her). I was prepared to cover the 30% but after that experience I knew to look elsewhere. *shrugs* In the end it all worked out for the best. I had my surgery with Dr. Macura it was done open. I was in the hospital for 4 days and my total hospital bill for the surgery, medicine, test, doctors, and fees came out to *drum roll* $10.00 yup that is right ten dollars it seems that I forgot to give them my co-pay the day of surgery LOL... Guest guest
My bill from the hospital came on Saturday. The insurance hasn't paid yet (I hope " yet " is the right word!). The grand total for the hospital was $29,900.00. Best- Nick Re: Re: REN!! - Nick > > > > > > Nick, > > > > When I was researching surgeons for my DS, Dr Ren was the second surgeon I > called.
