Guest guest
Hello, My son (21 mos, 15lbs 2 oz, 29 in) is having a button placed tomorrow at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland, CA. This has been a very difficult decision, but we believe it will be for the best. I have a tremendous amount of anxiety and stress about it and just feel worrisome in general about the whole thing...but perhaps that's normal. Anyway, in addition, also has a rotated small intestine which they are going to have to evaluate and determine if it needs correcting. They are also going to take out his appendix to avoid complications/confusion down the road since it is not where it's supposed to be. They aren't going to do a fundo since they do not believe his reflux is that bad. I hope after the tube is placed it does not get worse! Well, wish us luck...and again, any prayers for him (us!) are much appreciated. Thank you! 5 1/2 non-RSS and 21 mos RSS

Guest guest
, I'll be thinking about both of you. I can picture myself in your place and I would feel the same way. So many paople say that are happy with the tube once it is in place and they wish they would have done it sooner. Of course it is a whole other story when you are talking about his appendix and intestines. Bless your heart.
