Guest guest
Hello Gang. Want to put something on the table for you all to consider. The majority of the problems that we all have are from parasites living in our intestines and they grow here because we don't have good BMs every day. I have been doing a lot of research on oxygen - and we all know that we cant live without a good supply of it - they always tell us to breath deeply and the purpose of exercise to also to increase it in our bodies. We all know that. And it is also a known fact that if you have cancer, it is because the cells have a lack of oxygen and become acidic and profilerate. Parasites also cannot live in an oxygenated environment. There is a product out called MAG07 by Aerobic Life and you can do some reading on it, but essentially it is supposed to be superior for bringing oxygen into the cells and thereby doing a good job a cleaning the colon. Have any of you tried this product? And to go a step further, there is oxygen ozone therapy which is supposed to clean everything up, and essentialy, these products are all supposed to kill the parasites, which by the way, are very intelligent and can speak to one another and the cravings that we get, are the parasites banging on the table in our bodies for FOOD and nice, good, sugary food. So, I believe that the main thing is that we have to kill the bastards and move them out of their house (our intestines) and THEN begin to heal that colon. They also change and kill the good bacteria and we are constantly battling to keep the good alive. But they outnumber the good guys and it is very hard to maintain that balance unless you take something that will really kill them. And I believe that that something is oxygen. (I am sorry that I am rambling here) Hope that this has made some sense, and I am going to order the Mag07 tomorrow, (Vitacost sells it) and do more research on the ozone therapy, which by the way, this machine will clean all your fruts and vegetables of the hasty little critters PARASITES. Guys, this is huge. Run with it. I am. Terry

Guest guest
There is a product out called MAG07 by Aerobic Life and you can do some reading on it Please post a URL which shows the ingredients in this product. Recommending products which may not be SCD-legal is not permitted on this list. The only thing I can find says, " Mag 07 is a combination of powdered magnesium oxide compounds which have been ozonated and stabilized to release mono-atomic or nascent oxygen over 12 hours or more. The timed release ensures that Mag 07 will provide an adequate amount of oxygen, slowly, for better utilization. " which doesn't tell me what it actually contains. In addition, the same page, http://www.aerobiclife.com/products/mag_07.htm notes, " Mag O7 Can Have a Powerful Stool-Softening Effect: Mag O7 can be used as a stool softener. Mag O7 serves as an alternative choice for consumers needing this benefit. " so this product could be exceptionally bad for people dealing with diarrhea. I am not trying to pick on you, directly, but I am going to reiterate that this list is for the discussion of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. This product does not look to be SCD-legal to me, nor given the above comment about it being a stool softener, should it be recommended for blanket use by all people with gut issues. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle

Guest guest
A couple of years or so ago, some listers were talking about taking magnesium supplements for constipation/bloating. I took this product from WF and I had seriously bad, bad pain in the front under my ribcage for days. It was like I was bruised severely. I posted on here the amount of the magnesium or maybe on SCDinfo and Kim told me the dose I took was extremely high compared, 2100mg I think? I do not remember beyond the pain and it didn't make sense to me at the time. I wouldn't touch it if you are the least bit sensitive. I know RL folks who take it (non cd) without a problem. There are easier ways. Eat coconut butter to kill the parasites ;-). Debbie 41 cd On Tue, Apr 27, 2010 at 9:53 AM, Wizop Marilyn L. Guest guest
These are the ingredients: Supplement Facts Average Serving Size: 3 Vegetable Capsules Servings per container: 40 Each Serving ContainsAmount% Daily Value Magnesium (as Ozonated Magnesium Oxides) I think the oxygen therapy idea is very interesting and will be interested to see how it comes out for anyone who tries it. But I would caution you remember that magnesium oxide is the strongest laxative of the various kinds of magnesium. For me it's an atom bomb. Thanks for the info T.>> Personally, I think the parasites infest us theory is, well, just that. A theory. And perhaps a bill of goods as well. For most people with Crohn's and UC, unless they're habitually constipated, not getting cleaned out every day is NOT a problem. On the contrary, a, if not the major symptom of those diseases is diarrhea. Probiotics DO take hold. You need to take the right ones though, in the right amounts, and allow some time to let them do their thing. If you want to "oxygenate" yourself, take anti-oxidants, especially CoQ10 and grapeseed extract. Those are perfectly legal on the SCD. There's are an alternative treatment that uses a substance referred to as MMS, activated by citric acid. Guest guest
n, I'd be interested to know what MMS does for you. I was on it for a few weeks pre-SCD and felt rotten the whole time. I may have been going at it too aggressively. I also think that if you are at all sensitive, and most of us are, that magnesium can cause real problems. For me, with IBS, I am exceedingly touchy about magnesium. Even magnesium glycinate, which is advertised as " bowel neutral " , isn't. It's milder, but it's still magnesium. Proceed with extreme caution here.
