Sorry Carol, I couldn't remember who gave me the link.  Thanks again ;-).

 

SCD Lady, it's used in baking.  I do not have any recipes but maybe someone can post them for you or you can search the archives from the yahoo group.

 

I guess it's not advanced but I don't know.  I'm not ordering it at this time because I know how I am with something like that.  I'd eat too much of it instead of working in vegetables and fruit.  I did that with dccc/certain cheeses.  Can't go near nut butters very often, not even tahini for the same reason.

Well, we seriously try not to recommend things which are not legal on

this list.

Cocoa butter is the FAT of the cocoa bean. None of the proteins,

starches, or sugars which are a problem.

And we have someone who asked Elaine herself, prior to her passing, and

was told cocoa butter's legal, even though ch-c-l-t- isn't.
