Guest guest
My son had torticollis which went undiagnosed until we noticed a bossing of his forehead and flat spot on the left side. This condition was what led us to take notice of a product " wingbo " . It holds the baby in a prone position so he can stregthen neck and upper body muscles. I would like to get the word out there to the many parents who are looking all over the internet in search of products that may help. I myslef had sent off to New Zealand for a positioner that I thought might work. When it is your child you will try anything. wingbo is being used by PT's around the country and in Canada in cases of low muscle tone. In Germany (where the swing was developed and made), babies are checked at each well baby visit for torticollis. My friend's newborn was checked at the third well baby visit and the doc immediately recommended therapy for him. I agree with the idea of a check at each well baby visit and am off to sign the petition. Thank you for inclusion.
Guest guest
I found this online for 199.00. Too expensive for us. Then I found an article saying to check ebay.de ... I did and lo and behold there are a ton of these for sale for around 50-70 dollars. 79.90 for a brand new one. Yes the whole website is in german and you have to e- mail the sellers and ask what they would charge for shipping to the US but if you have a paypal account and don't want to pay an arm and a leg for one this is a good tip. I used Google translate to e-mail the seller in german and to translate the pages. Good luck.
