Big congratulations, Pammi! Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

That's it, Pammi. Sort of like the fat globules floating around on

the top of a pot of spaghetti sauce. Take it from the " Oil King. "

If anybody on the list knows oil, *I* do.

I was switched October 15th in Spain, and returned to the States the

26th.

No complications, and Dr. B is everything that people say he is.

I have lost about 20#s already. I do have to work on getting in more

water and protein. But I am just 2 1/2 weeks out and I can't

complain about anything. The first 2 weeks I had a fair amount of

energy, but I have been dragging since I got home. I imagine it is a

combination of jet lag and low intake. I was sleeping on my sides

before my drains were out, much to the envy other other post ops

suffering with sleeping on their backs.

I do have a question---are the fat globules in the poop orange/red?

At one am in the morning I could have sworn I pooped out pimentos,

but was too sleep deprived to investigate further.

Welcome home and congratulations, Pammi! I am thinking very

seriously of going to Dr. Baltazar. I'm going to join the

Dr. B list. I imagine you're a member? So maybe I could read

about your trip and surgery experiences there? I'm extremely

curious.

And to everybody else, I don't understand about the oil.

When you are post op you start excreting fat from you r body

or are you talking about undigested fat from food? In either

case, why orange/red/yellow? I'm just curious.

Jean.

Pammi is home and switched!!

What you do not absorb, you excrete.

At least in part. In theory, on-board fat should be re-converted to

carbohydrates for energy production.

Maybe it's seasonal: the leaves on the trees, you know...
