dear friends, I joined the group last year when i was diagnosed with PF, PH, I have systemic scleroderma, my pulmonologist just told me that my lungs are in really bad shape she recommended lung transplant.

I know that some of you have had lung transplant. My question is, how do you get the money to pay for it? we have been searching on the web the costs and it goes from 400,000 for single lung to 600,000 for double lung tranplant.

How do you guys get the money to pay for the transplant? Who should i call? what should I do?

I have two very young sons, I have many reasons to fight for my life. Please tell me what can I do. To get my life back!

I am so sorry you have to go through this. Like you I have IPF, have 2 very

young kids and am waiting for a double lung transplant. Please feel free to

contact me on my email at tazluvzraz@... and we can talk. I might not have

any answers but it is nice to have someone that is going through the same thing

that will listen.
