Guest guest
Thanks for the post...Dalia has been refusing to even let me hold her hands to walk lately...she used to let me...and she doesn't even seem to have the balance to let go, but I know she'll just do it eventually. I feel like we don't really do any of the PT exercises because she won't cooperate. Did na even let go at times before she walked? Guest guest
na would not let her hands be held. Her balance was so off she would fall sideways all the time into to floor, wall, etc( come to find out she has almost half inch difference in legs. She has a brace in her sneaker) She just held on to everything except us. Her Pt would also say she is determined not to do the pt. Then we would make games that she would do then add songs to it and then get through it. We had a ball that we balanced her on....now everyball she sees she wants to jump on and play. Our therapist was unbelievable, though she moved to Florida, she instilled exercises na has her dolls do with her. She still complains of leg pains and she can't walk. I just stop tell her to rest and then continue. Her doctor said the more she walks the better her indurance will be. Dalia will probably be up and walking soon. Try and make games out of her Pt and watch her take over the house. We pray that they walk ,then when they do we want them to stay in one place because the neat rooms we once had are filled with a loving mess for us to clean. The love out ways the mess anytime. Though last night my mess was chocolate milk all down her doll house and in it. Yuck!!! I asked her how was her day " I dropped my drink mommy " where i said " On the roof of the house " the house outside today that's ok na " no mumma your silly i can't reach the roof the one in the living room " Of course my husband gave her the cup full and told her she could have it in the living room. Some time I wonder what goes through my husbands mind.
