Dawn,I would think that if she is o.k. with butter and cow milk cheese, you could easily try the cow milk yogurt. I would suggest giving her small quantities at first to make sure and increasing it over a few days to see if there is an adverse reaction. You might even consider making the yogurt with 1/2 and 1/2 (1/2 cream 1/2 milk) at first to reduce the amount of casin and lactose.AmeliaFrom: Dawn

My 2 year old has digestive issues - candida/bacterial overgrowth but no signs of autism. Most of her issues seem to stem from the fact that she does not chew her food, and when I puree her veggies she does fine. She has been doing GREAT with goat yogurt for probably 6 months now. She tolerates cow cheese and butter just fine, so I am thinking about switching her to cow yogurt. My reasons are it tastes better (I would think), the texture is much nicer (I make it for DH - he is not SCD but is hooked on the yogurt) and I can buy it organic locally. Plus, a gallon of organic cow milk is cheaper than a half gallon of non-organic goat milk! So what do you think, should I go for it?

I would start with a small amount, just as you probably did when you

started the goat yogurt, and watch carefully for the reactions.
