I'm really sorry that you've been stressing out about this. I've never been

pregnant (never will be) but for the health of your baby you should try not to

get too worked up. As far as i know it is really rare for rss to occur in

sibilings. anyways i'm sorry i can't be of any help. best wishes.

and can it harm my baby " and basically what is going on?!?

I will get a call tomorrow with the ultrasound date, within a week,

and I am hoping all is well?!? Can I even trust it? Apparently

level 2 is a better ultrasound? My first 2 were 7 11 and 19.5 inches

then 7 14 and 21.25 inches, then came Autumn at 5 6 18.5 inches but

the docs feel she has RSS so that explains it, so then what is going

on now?

Hi ,

I am sorry to hear how stressed you are. Having only had the one

pregnancy, I don't know how I would react in your situation.

Know that you have a huge group of people who care about you and are

praying that everything turns out ok.

Both my babies were IUGR. Jed my oldest caught up by age 5 months, so was/is

not considered SGA anymore. Liam has never caught up and he is still SGA

possible RSS. Try not to worry it will all work out...

I know I haven't been interacting with the site for a while and may

be late with offering my experience, but with my daughter Gillian

(10 months) I had nothing but problems throughout my pregnancy. We

knew our son Colin- had RSS and we were extremely worried about

this baby. We went for a level two and the ultrasound could actually

show you the spine and chin and fingers to look for characteristics

of RSS while the baby is in utero. It was really cool and really

reassuring. She is non-RSS. I hope this helps. mom to Colin-

Hi ,

Maybe it is something total different. I was told there was only a 1% chance

that I would carry another child with RSS. I hope everything is fine. Autumn was

a good size. Tori only weighed 3 lbs 9 oz and her sister was only 6 lbs 14 oz.

Keep your head up and we will pray for you.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this time of uncertainty

right now. I just hope that everything goes well, and please let us

know what you find out. I understand that you are nervous. I won't

pretend that I wouldn't be because Gos knows I would be just as

worried as you are. Try to relax and hold on until that ultrasound.

thanks everyone for your replies and support. I just get concerned

about the dangers of IUGR and not knowing what is going on is

difficult if something is even going on. I just want her to be

well. If it is the rare chance of RSS/SGA again, that is great, as

long as she is ok, it's my only concern. Thanks again everyone.

I just wanted to say that when I was pregnant what the ultrasounds showed

was that Jonah's head was much larger than his body and this was a good

indication of something. The geneticist could tell a lot from the

ultrasounds. Anyway, try to relax and take one day at a time,
