Guest guest
Congrats !! You go ahead and gloat. You have worked hard to get him where he is now. Good luck in your career. God bless you. I have worked in a rehab hospital ( spinal cord, head injury unit )and it was the chaplain that got some of the family members through the rough times when they were told devistating news. They also helped the staff. It takes a special person and I am sure you will do great. Marcy nas mom Kearns wrote: Howdy Folks, Here is the monthly update on Connor Kearns. Since the start of ght and the g-tube, Connor has gained 6 pounds and grown one inch. He's actually getting heavy now. Yippee!!! His energy is phenomenal. In addition to this great news, Connor is also testing way ahead in intelligence. I'm going through the process of having Connor entered into the special ed. school here locally. Not because of developmental delays, but because of his medical fragility. So, while we do this process, Connor is being tested ad nauseam. To make a long story short,he's off the charts!!!!! He's testing at a 4 to 4 and half year old level. Connor is 2 3/4. I apologize if this sounds like gloating, but golly if any of you have been following are story than you'll know that some good news is a blessed change from the norm. I've also decided to go back to school to secure one more credit hour of Clinical Pastoral education for my degree. When I get that, then I'll be able to work in hospital situations as a chaplain. I feel more called to work in this setting right now than the local parish. So, Connor has blessed me with a new direction in my vocation as well. That's all for now. We are getting ready for Summer!!! ---------------------------------

Guest guest
, WOW! I am so glad that you guys such good news about Connor. That is so awesome that he is that smart. When is he going to be 3? just turned 3 yesterday! Wow, I can't believe how fast time goes. ) I am glad that the g tube is working so well for Connor. is still just sort of plugging away and can't seem to gain much weight despite over-stuffing him! He has me stumped. I swear it goes to his hair folicles! ) His hair grows so stinkin' fast, along with his finger nails. So how much is the wombat weighing these days? is up to 22 lbs. 6 oz. and is 32 " tall. Pretty good considering how hard it is to get him to gain! ) Well, take care adn hope to hear more from you soon, Jodi R. > Howdy Folks, > > Here is the monthly update on Connor Kearns.
