Guest guest
hello everyone, We have decided to bring Ada to the Magic convention next month (yeah, very excited). She just graduated from High School last Friday which was an enormously stressful and emotional occasion for us all. It is unbelievable to me how much we've been through with her since birth - and now she is done with school. She was certainly the smallest graduate there but I think also the one that has worked the hardest to complete school. I was wondering if any adults with RSS would be attending this year. It's been years since we've been and I would love to meet some of you all and to find out how life has been for you since completing h.s. Guest guest
If any adults do decide to come, even though there aren't officially any " adult only presentations " -- TWO THINGS (can someone forward this to the Adult listserve). Dr. Czernichow is flying in from Paris and will be presenting on the prior and ongoing studies that examine the longterm health consequences that children born SGA are at a higher risk for developing. I think that this is important for RSS adults to listen to as well!!!! (We will videotape it.) If any group of RSS adults attend, no matter how small, we can try and arrange a small meeting area where you guys could hang out on Friday morning, network, etc. Just let me know ASAP. P.S. I am working with Stanhope in England on some possible studies; we are using some of our walkathon monies to fly in his " fellow " to conduct some questionnaires. I know the RSS Adults had some serious questions that they would like investigated about gynecological stuff, etc. If the adults wanted to try and drum up some people to attend the convention, maybe we could put a questionnaire together and try to write something later.... > hello everyone, > We have decided to bring Ada to the Magic convention next month (yeah, very excited).
