I wonder what they will think of my yogurt in customs. I will be staying in Germany for three weeks and Italy for a week in August as part of a study abroad program. I know we will be staying in university dorms, and they serve breakfast in the morning, but I'm hoping I will be able to eat something! Or even cook for myself. Hopefully I'll be able to digest raw fruits and veggies by that point. Anyone else have any experience staying abroad in Europe?? Thanks! I buy enough from Starbucks for us (tea for me) everything else for the kids- that they can send a few spoons with us..LOL. Haven't stolen the honey yet! Just like every thing else with this diet, it all takes practice. On my last 2 trips I've been lucky and have been able to get great steamed/boiled seafood. So I haven't had to worry about packing much for dinners. On my last trip I knew I would get desperate while being away for 5 days for something sweet, so I actually made some almond butter with sea salt and honey and ate that straight up after dinner! Yum!
