Yes, definitely, if you have the stamina to manage it. Not everyone does initially - and if you use up all your energy that is also not good. IBD people lack endorphins, exercise creates endorphins. Many, many endorphin receptors are found in the gut, so this is a natural way to modulate the immune system into good health.
