Hi im not sure if im tolerating my homemade yoghurt i love the taste of it especially blended with ripe banana and honey, But im very bloated each day with lots of D and cramping. Anyway ive decided with my next batch of yogurt to drip it in the cloth bag that came with my yogourmet maker and also use some of the yogurt in my donvier chhese maker i just recently bought off amazon.com. Coud this help me tolerate the yogurt better does anybody know???

Also what should i flavour my dripped yogurt with to make it taste nicer as i hear it can become quite tart after dripping.

And when making the cheese in the donvier cheese maker is there anything i could do to make that taste nicer too....??

Thanks all Mark

If you have a casein issue, dripping it won't help, but it's definitely worth a shot =) Also what should i flavour my dripped yogurt with to make it taste nicer as i hear it can become quite tart after dripping.Actually, it becomes much less tart after dripping! It will taste much richer and creamier. I'm sure it will be even better with your banana and honey, and you could also make ranch dressing out of it by adding some herbs and onion powder if you can tolerate them. If you want, I can post Marilyn's ranch recipe in the group files. You know, I'll probably do it anyways if it isn't already up there =) Peace =)Alyssa 16 yo UC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)Azathioprine 75 mg 1x per dayPrednisone 30 mg 1x per day
