I'm terrified of OTC painkillers, they cause stomach pain. my endocrine system has been out of whack ever since I developed my first IBD symptoms 12.5 years ago. my adrenals are ridiculous at this point, although thank god years ago I was able to get off the thyroid meds. I'm trying to get myself healthier, and am *knock on wood* seeing dramatic changes in my endocrine system lately, which is why I'm not too surprised this is happening. I'm also trying to do good guesswork on the essential fatty acids issues. I take spectrum naturals fish oil now, occasionally black currant seed and occassionally primrose, I'm also trying to bake avocados and occasionally attempt flax seed or olive oil. I don't have any borage on hand is it better than primrose? I managed to get myself to bake some avocado and strawberries, that's got me a little stable now and I'm just sitting hunched over distracting myself with computer, will try some hamburger soon and hope I don't relapse into more pain. the thought of a bath right now is terrifying, but if I feel a little better/can eat more later I'll try. I just don't want to get worse :(thanks so much for your responses guys! Heya , You ever have your sex hormones checked and complete thyroid panel? I suffered with terrible and debilitating PMS for years. What about a pain killer? Maybe you should just take a tylenol if you can't get a pain killer? Epsom salt baths are super soothing. I am so sorry you are experiencing this. You'll get through it though- hard to believe when you're right in the midst of it! I know! How are you with a burger patty just to get some protein in you?
