Hi ann...

I dont mind the questions at all! I did the same thing before I had my

surgery and only ended up in Spain because others talked to me!

Spain is about 11,000 US for the surgery on average. Mine was just over

10,300. I stayed in Spain two weeks but only due to flight problems because

I only had 4 weeks to get organized and go!! Some went home on the 5th or

6th day...just depends on your recovery! It didn't hurt me at all to travel.

The only part that was hard is that it was very tiring. I flew from Alicante

to Madrid and then to Amsterdam where we spent the night. It was a long

morning and the walking in the airports wiped me out but I did fine and made

it without any problems. The next day we flew from Amsterdam to Vancouver BC

and got home at 2 in the afternoon. I really enjoyed Spain and want to go

back when I can enjoy the sites! Dr. B. was worth every bit of traveling and

I'd go the same route if I had to do it over and could choose a dr here.

AJ

Congratulations! Your results are simply amazing, and very, very inspiring

to those of us waiting for our day to come. I am new to this list (a little

over 1 week) and am intrigued that you went to Spain to get your surgery

done. Was it expensive? How long did you have to be in Spain for? Did it

hurt to travel? I hope you don't mind all the questions, but it really

helps to know what our options are.

Thank you,

ann
