Guest guest
Hi to all, We have just finished round 3 of chelation and have some questions. As I mentioned before after the first round Maranda had her first B.M. in the toilet and has gone in the toilet every time since. (even locking door for privacy, wiping and flushing) The bad news is that she has also wet the bed almost every night and she was having very few bed wetting accidents before, any ideas?? We also just got the results of her urine test for toxic metals and while Mercury did not show ( the Dr. told me to expect that) she did show elevated levels of Cadmium, Lead (3x normal) and Tin (4x normal). My questions are where does cadmium come from?? We live in a very old house (built in 1877) I thought someone mentioned that there is some agency that will check your house for high lead levels ? The Tin the Dr said could be from canned fruit which Maranda does (DID!) eat alot of any other ideas of possible sources??? I also thought I readheard that certain elevated levels of metals can be an indicator if how much mercury even if it does not show initially? I also noticed that Maranda seems to have a renewed interest in getting foods she is not supposed to have, primarily bread ( we are getting a locked cabinet to keep unacceptable foods in) It seems that in the last 2 or 3 weeks she has gottten a bite of something forbidden almost daily , any thoughts on the renewed interest?? (we have been on the gfcf diet for 17 months and I can certainly tell when she has an infraction) I also think that her infractions may be masking some results from the chelation. Her speech is much clearer and she is putting 15 plus words together primarily in song but before it was one or to echoing videos and now she is singing spontaneosly so we are hoping more meaningful communication is next. Sorry this is so long. Thank you all for your help. Valarie in Ca mom to Maranda asd and Nickolas possible aspergers
Guest guest
Infractions are DEFINITELY associated with incontinance evn if continance was previously established. This is another indication to you that your daughter needs this diet 100%. Once you let them try a little morphin, our little addicts will want more...., tracy Re: OT: chelation therapy questions > Hi to all, > We have just finished round 3 of chelation and have some questions. Guest guest
My son also tested high in cadmium. His test from Doctor's Data Inc. was .78 (Reference Range .15). They listed possible sources are oysters, anchovies, cigarette smoke, and hair treatments. I have also read it is in batteries, pigments, metal coatings and plastics. I have no clue where my son got it from. He also tested high in tin but was highest with antimony. Was your child high in antimony? I know where my son got the antimony but everything else is a mystery. I suspect that even though I use Britta to filter water, he must have gotten something that way. I only give him distilled water now. I can't answer about bedwetting as my son is still in diapers but I assume that could be a result of the metals being redistributed in the body. From what I hear, things can get a little worse before it gets better. All a sign that things are working. > Hi to all, > We have just finished round 3 of chelation and have some questions. Guest guest
, Thanks for the imput .Maranda did not show high in antimony, only cadmium, lead and tin, but I believe antimony is used in as a fire retardant in children sleep ware (is that right ?) and both my kids usually sleep in one of mom or dads t-shirt. Thanks , Valarie in Ca
