Guest guest
1. How long can I keep coconut yogurt in the fridge? 2. I made coconut yogurt last monday (may 10). I took 1/4 teaspoon the first day and after a couple of days I could eat several tablespoon with no reaction. When I ate 1 large bowl (1,5 cup..) I got pain but my bm's was good. I went away for 3 days and ate no yogurt. When I came home yesterday I ate 1/2 cup. No pain. Today I had a couple of eggs to lunch and right after lunch I got extreme pain. Sometimes I do react on egg if the yolk is not stiff and today it was runny, but I never react to bad. I went straight to the toilet and had a green ugly loose bm. The pain continued, is was like something was twisting inside me. I also felt like I was going to trow up.. I took charcoal and it helped... 1,5 hour after lunch I got another "attack" of stomach pain and ran to the toilet. It was thin diarhea.. After the toilet visit The pain went away.Yesterday I also tried to introduce a small amount of g! reen peas.I am so confused on what to think was the cause. Was the yogurt to old? I'm not sure - I don't think the yogurt was too old since it was only 1 week old, unlessit tasted off. (Mine never lasts that long, so no comparison.) Since it's green, it sounds like the peas to me, or the peas and runny eggcombo, since whatever happened occurred right after lunch. Maybe eating the eggstriggered it - did your stomach seem at all wobbly or did you have gas before youate the eggs? Or maybe you also had some die off from the yogurt. Anyway, justguesses. I'd back off on the yogurt for a day or two - and once your stomach seems strongagain, try some more of that, not 1/2 a cup, but not 1/4 teaspoon either - a few TBs or 1/4 cup - something in the middle. Maybe have some pepto bismal now, if your stomach still seems a bit jumpy. MaraDid I eat to much yogurt? Was it the egg? (since I sometimes do react on runy yolks..)Help...KarianneSCD since august 09Dysbiosis, ASD, celiac ++
Guest guest
Hey Karianne, I think Mara's advice is spot on! Sometimes when I ate soft boiled eggs or hard boiled eggs it would just trigger my digestion in an odd way and make me sensitive to other foods. Was your BM mucous like or was it just green? Guest guest
I just can't understand that it is the peas since I only ate a few of them. I normally I get a immediate reaction if I don't tolerate a food. The yogurt did taste a bit more sour then " normal " . My stomach was 100% good before I ate the eggs. No pain, no bubling, no gas. I ate 7 quail egg in a small omelet. But I wanted more so I fried to more eggs about 10 minutes after I ate the first omelet. The pain came a couple of minutes after eating those to eggs. I don't have any more yogurt now so I will need to make a new batch. It was very good, but I am afraid of all the fat in the coconut milk on how much I can eat before I get a flare since I sensitive to fat.. Karianne > > > > > > > 1. Guest guest
I haven't tried s. boulardii yet.. I am not able to buy a legal one, they contain lactose My bm was good this morning so I really don't understand what happened yesterday. I do take enzyme to every meal. Normally I use Creon 25 000 but when I eat egg I take kirkman complete dpp-iv. I fried the omelet in coconut oil as usual My stomach is okey today!
