Guest guest
I would go through with the DS date no matter what for one major reason: the chances are excellent that it's the excess weight that's causing the apnea, and the surgery should rapidly take that weight off. Do I have to have a CPAP > Just got a date for ds of dec 3 and a diagnosis of moderate > obstructive sleep apnea on the same day. the problem is i have to > have another study done for cpap tritration that will take 3 weeks > for the results. that is after surgery. what should i do since this > is the only date i could get in dec and for insurance purposes i have > to do dec. the surgeons office has not gotten back to me yet about > this. i understand things are going on in nyc today and this may be > why i could not get in touch today. if i dont have the machine, how > much will i be comprimising my recovery? It just seems like one thing > after another is coming up to interfere w/ this surgery happing before > jan. btw, yes i already tried to get a sooner date at different > centers. earliest i could get was tomorrow night, but still three > week wait for results, so u know that means a wait for the machine. > do any of u medical professionals know how i might get them to speed > this process up? thanks for all replys.BB
