Guest guest
First, I think Barbara McD did a wonderful job on the questioner. And so sweet of her to do it. As far as sending it to the board... when did anyone get elected to edit our stories???? I didn't know a comity had been set up. I thought our stories were to be told in our own words, misspellings, bad gramer and all.Guess I have misunderstood the whole concept. Chat--well it does get crazy at times when some dominate the talk.. it only works well when we ask a question and listen for an answer. keep our comments short. No one wants to know anyones life story in the few min we have on chat. We need to respect the other callers. At times I have felt we need a timer or a gong.. LOL Chat is a wonderful sharing time we can all enjoy and have for the four years it has been going. At times someones phone does loud squeals and our honry Max barks.. we have to have some patients and listen.Now..... I have had my meds and feel good so I will re-read this a few times then send it..What the heckPeggy, FloridaIPF 2004Always praying for my PEEPS
Guest guest
May I say that I agree with Peggy's comments about using a member's selected and edited posts to tell his/ her story. The importance of this is becuase it is in his/her voice and therefore is powerfully emotional. If you could read Lou's last post the day before she died, you would not be able to stop the tears. I saved it and read it occassionally and cry every time. To read a selection of her posts from her diagnosis until her death, along with that of many others, would convince the world of the need for greater research in this little known disease that cripples and kills so many.
