Guest guest
I want a t-shirt! I am 2x and I want a t-shirt! i didn't know we were taking orders fro a t=shirt! Joyce Rudy AZ birds Beverly and all,The list we put people on, to see if there was enough interest in the concept of our Blue Shirt Friday for Pulmonary Fibrosis, is very impressive and further motivated the work we have been doing on the shirts:) The shirts are definitely a product of patients and families of patients wanting a tool to use to help raise awareness of this disease. We do have everyones name and specific amounts and sizes, if they were given, ready to place their orders, however, you may be able to place an order directly once it is completed and set up online......as Leanne mentioned it is all evolving and none of us can wait to have that shirt on! Is everyone ready to answer peoples questions resulting from seeing your shirt in line at the grocery store, or at your clinic visits or where ever you may be wearing it? It can be as simple as "Go to one of these websites for more information" or better to be ready with a brief 15 second introduction to what PF is Just an idea to work on while we are waiting on the shirts:) What will you say to keep their attention for the next minute, at least, once they ask you about the disease your shirt is talking about? These shirts are all about starting conversations and you are going to have some great ones....we can't wait to hear about all of them:)One version could be something like: 1. It is an autoimmune disease 2. It takes more lives now than breast cancer 3. There is little known about the disease and no cure 4. Transplant helps some, but not every person qualifies for new lungs and even then it is not a "cure". What will your facts sound like? Good luck:)

Guest guest
Hi Joyce R, The T-shirts are still in the process. They are not finished yet. We will be able to buy them from our home board but not until Leanne lets us know they are ready. I am excited about them too.Love & PrayersPeggy, FloridaIPF 2004----- BlueLiddy@... wrote: > > I want a t-shirt! I am 2x and I want a t-shirt! i didn't know we were taking orders fro a t=shirt! Guest guest
Jan...... I tend to be pretty direct when telling someone about PF. I tell them it is a fatal lung disease with basically no treatment and no cure. That the majority of those with PF have no idea where they contracted it. We are trying to raise awareness as cancer has the pink ribbon, we will have the blue T-shirt. Some conversations get more wordy and some don't seem interested... Guest guest
I have written down your interest in the shirt and added it to the spreadsheet! Once the PF Foundation, PF Coalition and PF Association of Texas are finished with the background work everything will be ready for all the orders We are going to not only look great in the blue shirts, but also call attention to this disease like we have never been able to do before from our grassroot perspectives! Thank you for supporting the project! Jan (PF Association of Tx.) > > I want a t-shirt! I am 2x and I want a t-shirt! i didn't know we were > taking orders fro a t=shirt! Guest guest
I never saw a price for these T-shirts & that will make a huge difference in how many I can get because I'm on disability & have almost no money. I definitely would like to get one for myself though -- an X-lg please. Thanks. Cees, S Calif IPF/UIP 10/08 > > > > I want a t-shirt!
