I was looking through my saved recipes, and I cam across this one. For the squash, did you mean winter or summer? Guest guest
Hi Alyssa! I use pureed butternut squash. Obviously, fresh is better. But I have also done well with those bags of organic cubed butternut squash that you can get in the freezer section. (I just nuke them until cooked and then puree with a hand blender- you can use it for tons of stuff!). Hope you enjoy this- is one of my favorite standbys and it freezes GREAT. So I make at least 2 " loaves " , slice it and then wrap the slices in wax paper when cooled, and put them all in a big gallon ziplock. When you don't feel like cooking you've got a meal! Funny you should email about this- I have some questions for you at the end of something I just posted with my food journal -Joanna P.S. I was at WFs yesterday and we didn't have any Bubba's pickles > > > >> 1 lb. ground buffalo > >> 1 egg > >> 1/2 avocado > >> 1/4 cup pureed squash > >> > >> Mash everything together and bake in loaf pan or 9x9 pan for about > >> 40 minutes at 350- so easy and good > >> > > > Hey Joanna!
