Guest guest
Thanks Barb (and everyone else!) It is a huge relief, especially after September's appointment threw so much uncertainty in to the mix. What are you doing for Thanksgiving? My diffusion is back where it had been (last time's lousy result was a fluke) and I remain stable. My next appointment isn't till March so I've got a few months to chill. I am very happy this afternoon. Thankfully yours!> Beth Moderator Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 Dermatomyositis 11/08 >
Guest guest
Beth: Thanksgiving will be spent with some good friends. It'll be at their house, and they will do most of the cooking. This year, I am responsible to bring green beans and sweet potatoes. I'm gonna make green beans with pancetta and lemon, and sweet taters with maple syrup, cinnamon, half and half and maybe some brown sugar. I love to try new recipes! What are your plans? I have much to be thankful for, not the least of which are my "breathe-support" friends. My life would be so different without the information, comfort, support, understanding and silliness of the people on this board. God bless you all. My Dad used to make a toast at family gatherings, and it went something like "to those who are here, and those who are not here, Happy Thanksgiving". To my air family, I wish the same. Guest guest
Barb, Your plans sound wonderful and those green beans sound yummy! We are having Thanksgiving dinner at my sister Amy's home in Hillsborough. She's doing most of the cooking but I am making stuffed mushrooms, roasted carrots and a chocolate peanut butter pie. My other sister and her family are on their way down here from NY as I'm writing this. They will arrive later today and I can't wait to see all of them! My son is coming tomorrow evening. I will get him from the bus station in Greensboro at 9:30 tomorrow night. So all is well. I'm stable for now and I intend to have a fabulous Thanksgiving with my family! I wish the same for each and every member!
