Guest guest
, NAC stands for N-Acetylcysteine. My pulmodude prescribed it. I take or try to take 600 mg. 3x a day. So far this is the only med prescribed for IPF. I also take a multivitamin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D (in the fall and winter), Flaxseed Oil (helps inflamation) Zinc (helps the absorption of Vitamin C) Mucinex-D, and Fish Oil (for chlesterol). All of these are over the counter. Sometimes I need Zyrtec. Toodles! Jane UIP/IPF 12/1998 Dalton, Georgia aka pianolady_musicgirl
