Guest guest
Hi Beverley, Happy Sunday! You'll get back to the Northwest soon! It's a house buyer's market right now, so if its listed....they will come! Port Orchard has grown so much over the years, lots of places to shop and dine and the Silverdale Mall is just as good as Tacoma Mall. No need to go to Seattle too much traffic. I take the ferry to see Dr. Raghu at the UWMC and then I have to drive on the freeways for like 15 min and its crazy even for that short of time!! Only 30 days until you see him and I'll be there with you. My nose is really bad and my skin is flaky. I really need that moisture. I am so tired. I would like to be where I can drive anywhere I want to go. I wouldn't want to go to Tacoma or Seattle. I can't handle driving in big cities but there is plenty of shopping and places to go in and around Port Orchard.Beverley Joy,71, UIP,NSIP 1-09,Diabetes, Sjogren's, Fibromyalgia Idaho From: ceesnews <ceesnews (AT) yahoo (DOT) com>Subject: Re: CPAP, etc.To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. comDate: Thursday, November 26, 2009, 12:01 AM Dyane, I was really surprised when you said earlier that you had several nights of testing the CPAP equipment, but I'm starting to understand that a little. I will look it up online though because I'm still not getting a lot of it. Like if the nose & mouth are covered, where does the CO2 go that we exhale? And is this thing connected to an oxygen tank? I've never heard anything about that, so where does the air come from that it forces in? I'm guessing the blue gel is used to seal the mask from leaking?I have a small face too, which is one reason why my first sleep test wasn't any good. Their nose/mouth air measuring thingy was too big & kept sliding too far off my face. So I'll pay close attention to see if I have the same eye pressure problem that you had. Thanks for the info.As for the days of B & W TV, I've been horse crazy all my life, so my favorite shows were My Friend Flicka & Fury (I couldn't decide whether I wanted Graves as a dad or an older boyfriend. So good looking!)My dad flew planes in his spare time, so I also wanted to be niece Penny from Sky King. But what I've really always wondered is what happened to Tommy Rettig from Lassie? (Had a crush on him too... oh, & ny Crawford from... name of show??? What happened to him?) I've always thought the guy who plays Spiderman now looks a lot like Tommy Rettig. Can't remember his name either but it isn't Rettig. (Looks like I'm having a major senior noun loss moment.)Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.Cees, S CalifIPF/UIP 10/08>> Cees, yes its alot like torture, only good torture ya know LOL I know I was seriously sleep deprived as I almost fell asleep in Phoenix traffic which is insane. Cpap masks come in two versions..Nasel or Full Face. Nasel masks or prongs fit over or in your nose and seal it comepletely as the whole idea is the force of the air keeps your throat open., Full Face do the same thing only going over the nose and mouth. You can wear a nasel and if your mouth drops open you can put this giant elastic band over your head and under your chin to hold it closed or you can go full face. I have a round but small(chin to forehead) face and even small masks are just a bit too big for me and so the nose piece that should fit on the bridge of my nose is just up high enough to press on the inner eye area. The mask also has to be tight enough to seal and not leak when you turn your head so you tend to wake up with red lines on your face that go away in an hour or so.> Do I like it no Is it worth it You bet, I also don't worry about losing my oxygen in my sleep as it bleeds into the cpap. The fact that Lou lost her mask in her sleep scares the **** out of me. Fisher Paykel is just a brand name. Google cpap mask and you will be able to look at many masks and types of masks. Have fun. If none of this makes sense give me a call. Guest guest
Hi , My daughter lives in Gig Harbor and I get over there fairly often. I see how Port Orchard has grown. There is a new shopping center on land that my husband and I thought about buying at one time. It had a nice house and I wanted it but my husband had the final say and he talked more that he did so we didn't get it. Between Port Orchard and Silverdale they have all of the shopping that I need. For trips to Seattle my daughter or my son would have to drive me.I haven't decided what motel to get yet. I'm thinking about the one that Sher got. I'll be very happy to have you with me for my appointmentBeverley Joy,71, UIP,NSIP 1-09,Diabetes,Sjogren's,Fibromyalgia Idaho From: ceesnews <ceesnews (AT) yahoo (DOT) com>Subject: Re: CPAP, etc.To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. comDate: Thursday, November 26, 2009, 12:01 AM Dyane, I was really surprised when you said earlier that you had several nights of testing the CPAP equipment, but I'm starting to understand that a little.
