Guest guest
Tammy,What a thanksgiving present hey? Sorry you need us, Glad you found us. As HRH Peggy says there is no expiration point stamped on your behind. Now UIP is not great but I believe in fighting and learning about everything. Your not on o2 yet which is a good thing, listen to your body and watch your saturation, as a nurse you know this. You have a blessed position, my oldest was a 4.5 # post mature blue baby and spent a week in the neonate ward at Champaign Urbana Hospital in Illinois back when they(neonate) wards were brand new. Thank you for all the wonderful love you give to those babys. You will learn lots and lots here. If you can get to a center of excellence do it. Did you have a lung biopsy, how did they diagnose UIP? Beth is a nurse, we actually have a couple now I think, Bruce is a font of information and we all have stories and things that work and don't work. This board saved my sanity. Let us know where your from, etc. Hang in there!Dyane, 54, Phoenix, IIP 02 now NSIP 09, Breast Cancer, Psoriasis, Lipodermatosclerosis, Diabetes, and now a RA like autoimmune component, yadda yadda yadda."Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving is a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, chocolate in one hand, Margaritas in the other, loudly proclaiming "Holy **** What a ride!"."
