Dyane, I was really surprised when you said earlier that you had several nights of testing the CPAP equipment, but I'm starting to understand that a little. I will look it up online though because I'm still not getting a lot of it. Like if the nose & mouth are covered, where does the CO2 go that we exhale? And is this thing connected to an oxygen tank? I've never heard anything about that, so where does the air come from that it forces in? I'm guessing the blue gel is used to seal the mask from leaking?I have a small face too, which is one reason why my first sleep test wasn't any good. Their nose/mouth air measuring thingy was too big & kept sliding too far off my face. So I'll pay close attention to see if I have the same eye pressure problem that you had. Thanks for the info.As for the days of B & W TV, I've been horse crazy all my life, so my favorite shows were My Friend Flicka & Fury (I couldn't decide

whether I wanted Graves as a dad or an older boyfriend. So good looking!)My dad flew planes in his spare time, so I also wanted to be niece Penny from Sky King. But what I've really always wondered is what happened to Tommy Rettig from Lassie? (Had a crush on him too... oh, & ny Crawford from... name of show??? What happened to him?) I've always thought the guy who plays Spiderman now looks a lot like Tommy Rettig. Can't remember his name either but it isn't Rettig. (Looks like I'm having a major senior noun loss moment.)Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.Cees, S CalifIPF/UIP 10/08>> Cees, yes its alot like torture, only good torture ya know LOL I know I was seriously sleep deprived as I almost fell asleep in Phoenix traffic which is insane. Cpap masks come

in two versions..Nasel or Full Face. Nasel masks or prongs fit over or in your nose and seal it comepletely as the whole idea is the force of the air keeps your throat open., Full Face do the same thing only going over the nose and mouth. You can wear a nasel and if your mouth drops open you can put this giant elastic band over your head and under your chin to hold it closed or you can go full face. I have a round but small(chin to forehead) face and even small masks are just a bit too big for me and so the nose piece that should fit on the bridge of my nose is just up high enough to press on the inner eye area. The mask also has to be tight enough to seal and not leak when you turn your head so you tend to wake up with red lines on your face that go away in an hour or so.> Do I like it no Is it worth it You bet, I also don't worry about losing my oxygen in my sleep as it bleeds into the cpap. I saw him in Hawaii 30 yrs. ago walking on he beach towards me and he looked like a large oak tree, I looked at him as he got to me with that look on my face that i should know him and as we both turned around and looked at each other, he said "yep, it's me".
