Guest guest
I saw a new doc in Boston. His name is Dr. Dellaripa. He's located at Brigham & Women's hospital. He was awesome. He says that my rheumy and pulmo team should be working together. He's going to talk to my local pulmodude and recommend that they try to taper me off the prednisone and try me on Imuran(Sp?). I, also, asked him how he felt about me trying NAC. He said that he thinks it might be good for me and will also note that to the pulmodude. So, I'm still walking along (albeit slowly hehe) Overall, feel like there is hope again. BTW, I can't see the expiration date anymore!! Maybe it's fading. Guest guest
Good it went well for you. Brigham & Womens is another hospital that we've had other members happy. They use a multidisciplinary approach in their ILD center. They practice as they preach in working together. Co-directed by pulmonologist Hilary J. Goldberg, MD, and rheumatologist F. Dellaripa, MD, specialists in the multidisciplinary Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital – including pulmonologists, rheumatologists, and specialized pathologists and radiologists – are collaborating to better define diagnosis and treatment options for patients with interstitial lung disease.>> I saw a new doc in Boston.
