CORNELL OR U PENN????????

Hello all,

After my biopsy DX came back UIP/IPF from University of Miami a couple of weeks

ago, I want to get a second opinion.

I am visiting my family in NJ in Feb. and both Cornell and U Penn are about the

same distance.

Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about either and maybe a Dr.

recommendation. I am also going to look into their transplant programs too.

Universiy of Miami only did 4 lung transplants last year and they are also not

covered by my insurance for transplants. My insurance Aetna does cover Cornell

and U Penn and consider them hospitals on excellence.

Any help would be appriciated as I need to make my appointments now.
