Guest guest
Debbie If you are feeling “icky” since starting this particular supplement, then stop it – trust in your body’s signals. I can’t tell you how many bottles of supplements I’ve had to toss, simply because my body won’t accept it regardless of it containing no illegals and is something that is supposed to be helpful. In your case, with this particular supplement, I’d not try it based on the ingredient list you included. You should be able to find a B12 supplement using other sources, such as cyanacobalamin or methylcobalamin. Or use whole food sources unless your body is lacking the intrinsic factor to extract it (as mine does) and/or your digestion can’t cope yet with too much, in which case an injection would be more beneficial. Quite often people only need B12 injections temporarily; once their gut ecology improves they’ll be able to successfully synthesize B12 from food sources. I didn’t do a lot of research just now, but I did come across a number of sources that question the evidence to support B12 sources that are plant-based or yeast-based. S. cerevisiae is a yeast, as you know. But I’d pay attention to your body’s signals the most, even if the supplement or food contains nothing illegal or questionable. Kim M. I've been kind of 'ick' the last two-three days. I'm not taking them again. Probably never look at b00r, br00d or anything like that the same again. Could this be why I've been so nauseas and sick the last two days or would it have shown up before this? I've been taking it since April 20-something. Absolutely. Brewer's yeast and other nutritional yeasts aren't legal. I'd stop the supplement at once.
