New zevex pump soon available

Hi Guys,

For those of you with a child who is GT fed, I just wanted to let

you know that there is a new pump out by zevex that should soon be

available. I have field tested this pump for a month and just sent

it back with comments etc.

It is called the zevex infinity. It has no sensors to clean and does

not alarm falsely. It is 1/3 lighter than the regular enteralite

pump. It works in any position. Only downside I found was that the

tubing on the bag was narrower and I had issues with clogs. However,

when I put the formula through the blender - never had any more

problems. The formula I use (neocate jr) has some dissolving

problems at times anyway. The bag and tubing is a bit tricky to

prime but fine once you get the hang of it. I have also been told it

is about the same price as the enteralite pump.

I've got my name on the list for one once Jillie's medical supply

company converts from the enteralite to the infinity.

Now for more snow shovelling!!

PS - anyone seeing Dr H on Feb 1st??
