Guest guest
* I always bring LJs complete meals and beverages anywhere I go - it avoids all cross contramination issues too from others kitchens. I make Thanksgiving at my house where I serve only GFCF items and my dad, bro & his wife are all fine about it. Same with x-mas. As far as Halloween I have a Halloween party (GFCF) at my house and its with alot of little toys and just a couple of his acceptable candies (vegetarian gummies) and sandwiches and cookies. That is the only day of the year that I don't send LJ to school to avoid him feeling bad. on Long Island New York * On Mon, 24 Sep 2001 12:22:13 -0400 " Szenasi " writes: > I was wondering what you do for Halloween in place of trick or > treating. > Also, what about Christmas? Guest guest
Actually, we either eat before we go or bring food with us. The kids never seem too interested in eating because they are too busy playing, so it is enough to eat first and bring a snack with us (GFCF candy). Last year I even saw another family who brought their children and a bunch of friends and a HUGE bag of candy. They let the kids play and before they left they divided the candy up between the kids. THe kids also got to buy toys with all the tickets they won from the games there so they got an added bonus. ===== Phyllis Parmelee Visit my website: THE 100 ACRE WOOD CHILD CARE - My Brand New Website Like my website?
