Guest guest
Hi Pat thanks for your response. Charlie is on continuous feeds overnight and copes well with 48ml per hour however vomits on waking. It just doesn't seem practical to do continuous feeding during the day. Hourly feeds are just as vomit prone too. I plan to make an appt with the surgeon to chat about the suggested surgery and will also discuss GJ tube and plyoroplasty - hadn''t thought of that thanks! We tried Liam Gough's (Jodie said you guys email a bit) elemental formula this week and it was a disaster - more vomit than ever! so back to the pediasure with improvement over the last 24 hours. Charlie is starting on GH early due to severe hypoglycemia - I have watched the seminars from conference last year and know exactly why you questioned that but due to the blood sugars - GH will get that under control really well. thanks for your help - we will keep plugging away with the medication as well. regards Alison
