Hi Sheryl,

eats a LOT of Stage 2 baby foods. Beechnut Advantage puts out higher

calorie foods, and I try to feed him only jars that are 80 calories or more.

His current favorite here is Turkey Rice dinner (110 calories per jar) and

Macaroni and Beef (100 calories per jar). I also feed him a lot of yogurt.

Danimals are 130 calories per container. I periodically add oil (if he's

constipated) or cereal (if his BMs are runny) to his food.

is also eating some chewable solids. My favorite is Jeno's pizzas!

He'll only eat this if it's cut in small, bite-sized pieces and he can use a

fork. He hates to touch the pizza with his fingers! LOL He, also, eats an

assortment of crackers, chips, and dry cereals.

We haven't tried Periactin with B yet. We're no where close to bolus feeding

(his hypo-g is too severe) and that is where the GI thinks it will come in

handy. One thing I've noticed from others on the list serve though is that

Periactin should be given regularly even if you don't think it's working.

It's effects are subtle, and although it doesn't appear to be working, in

the long run you'll get some weight gain.

I don't think you're neurotic!! You are a concerned mom that wants what is

best for her child!! And that is the BEST kind of mom. At least you aren't

adverse to the idea of a g-tube, if that is what the Drs deem necessary.

Personally, it sounds like Dalia is doing GREAT!! And the credit all goes to

YOU!!

You might want to look at the calorie counts on Yo-Baby and La Creme

Yogurt, too. I think they are even higher. Conny
