,

I used to ask that question all the time when Max was younger - even up

to two years ago! I don't understand why we and our kids have to go

through all of this, but it does all work out. I'm not one to say

there is a purpose for everything. I don't think that our kids suffer

for a purpose, nor do we, for that matter. But I do know that things

will get better, yet it may be a long time before that happens. Try to

just appreciate it when things are going well. Even if you have to

search and search for that silver lining. It will keep you sane.

By the way, after all those times when I asked if things would get

better and when, Max is now taller than I. He is past 5'3 " and growing

like a weed.

It does get better.

Thanks, I just feel so bad that she feels bad and of course, her
