Guest guest
I was thinking the other day (oh no!!) that perhaps it might be a good idea to have a listing of wls friendly PPOs and everyone who had a PPO who supported their decision could list their PPO and the location of the PPO? I was thinking of this because some people do not have a supportive Dr. to give them a referral, and they might be looking for one to change to. I know I was on one of the OSSG lists and asked on the list if anyone in my geographical area had a wls PPO and that is how I got the name of my new PPO, whom I love by the way. I also told him how I found out about him and he said " you found out about me on the internet? that is scarey! " because he doesn't even have a website! Some pay for more services than others depending on what was bought in the plan. My PPO is actually owned by my employer. They pay BC to administer the plan, but my employer is actually paying for the services, and is the one that determined what services would be covered. Some PPO plans have a co-pay some don't. Sorry, I think it would be difficult. Sheryl
