I guess you must have stirred her up, cause when I called this afternoon, she was a trifle bit snippy with me as well... Thanks ALOT! >> LOL Joe - sorry! I know, Dr. Oakley is So Really Nice, but the main reason I am going to Bowling Green is because of Dr. Hess. I just didn't want to get on her " bad side " since she and I have been getting along very well so far, and I certainly didn't mean to be nosey about another patient, or to put her on the spot, or to imply she did something wrong, but I want Dr. Hess and I want her to be absolutely sure that I told her that. She said 's situation wasn't exactly true, so I am thinking perhaps was always scheduled with Dr. Oakley, but they didn't make that perfectly clear to him and he may have assumed he was scheduled with Dr. Hess. That is because I told the office I wanted Dr. Hess and they originally had me scheduled for Feb. 22nd, and when I called to talk to Dr. Hess himself (since I didn't see him for my consult, either), he told me he was going to be out of town all of Feb. and I told him that I was upset about that since I had told his office I wanted HIM! I don't know, but I felt like the little kid getting yelled at by the teacher when she said she was not going to discuss another patient with me. She didn't even give me a chance to explain how I learned about 's situation. I really think they need another phone line and another full-time person to be available to patients for their questions all the time, not someone who is trying to do everything and get to the phone when she finally has a chance. Maybe Dr. Hess patients can let him know that this would be so helpful to his patients? Sometimes I worry what it will be like when I have to call post-op, if as he gets busier, the busy signals will last longer?? Carole

I remember not long ago people were complaining on the list about how much some doctors charge. Someone said that Dr. Hess wasn't like that. WELL, if he got everything above, I'm sure he would have to raise his fees. Don't forget the money a doctor gets for his services also has to support his office staff and all office expenses. Maybe this is why some of the doctors who have all the bells and whistles charge so much. Rita Black
