" You could always make it with all heavy cream, and then if it's too rich you could mix it with some of your regular yogurt"I have never tried it that way, so I am not sure it would whip properly. I always use just heavy cream.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Wed, May 12, 2010 8:15:45

When making yogurt with heavy cream to be used for whipping cream do you use ALL heavy cream or a mix of milk and whipping cream?I think you probably mean a mix of milk and HEAVY cream, since whipping cream always has illegals added to make it whip. I'm guessing you could do either way, depending on how rich you want it to be. You could always make it with all heavy cream, and then if it's too rich you could mix it with some of your regular yogurt. Peace =)Alyssa 16 yo UC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009

Hi Ester- I know this is a few days late, but I am catching up on the posts

because I was out of town! Anyway, Organic Valley has an organic heavy whipping

cream that is just milk and cream. I get it at Whole Foods!

Good luck,
