Joan...Hi to you.

About using a humidifier ... I have a cpap w/humidifier and I stopped using (humidifier) because I couldn't tolerate the heated air.

Now I have a humidifier on the concentrator and I like it ever so much better. I do have to watch for condensation that gathers in the water trap but I like it better.

oh yeah I sleep on my side also, the fisher paykel has slides of a kindso the mask doesn't shift.Dyane>> Hi all ->> I have a CPAP with a humidifier, but I'm wondering if I can bypassthat one and just use the humidifier on the O2 concnetrator??? And FYI,there is a CPAP 'mask' that is made for people who sleep on theirsides...it is a small 'bar' made of a very soft plastic-sort of materialthat allows it to move from side-to-side w/o dislocating the nose-piece.It has been great for me.>> And about those nasty spills, Joyce and Beverly...I guess my Momdidn't name me Grace for a reason...I have bad vision (legally blind w/omy glasses...little to no depth perception) and recently, I've becomemore 'wobbly'. When I lived in NC, we had an alarm system on the house, and it came with one of the small 'fob-controller' you can put in apocket or on a ribbon or leather piece around your neck. I had a badspill going outside to let the dogs out...I was alone at the time, andit had snowed and melted and then iced again (I'm not used to coldweather :<) Well I fell hard and knocked the breath out of myself, hada bunch of bruises and sore places...and DIDN'T have my alarm on me. Then, after I was diagnosed w/Severe Osteoporisis last year, I've beenas careful as I can be. I now live in northern CA and need to get oneof those that you can subscribe to for about $30/mo.>> Cheers to all ->> Joan M, in N.
