Hi all,

I have my tickets purchased and my date set to head to Spain. I am departing

from Kansas City on December 1 and surgery is scheduled for December 3!!!! I am

soooooooo excited; I couldn't sleep last night thinking about all the things I

had to do before leaving. I also kept thinking about my hopes for a happier and

healthier future.

I'm starting to make a list of items to pack and tips to consider; let me know

if you have anything I should add!

If you are leaving from KCI, where do you live? We must be pretty close. I

work in Overland Park, but live in Warrensburg, MO.

I live in St. ph, 30 minutes north of KCI. I am very familiar with KC;

lived in Weston for many years.

Have you had your surgery yet? If so, where?

I was going to Dr. Sudan in Omaha, but it didn't work out...darn insurance.

So, off to Spain I go.

I had my surgery in Ocean Springs, MS with Dr. Warden on Aug 28. I just got

back from my post op visit.

Maybe sometime when you are in KC we can get together. I work in Overland

Park.
