Hi Jodi and friends,

finally got out of the hospital late Tuesday. He has pretty

much been in the hospital since 4/15. He had that paralytic ileus that

stopped his intestines from working, then while in the hospital he got

that rotavirus bug. That was awful!! He had a high fever, vomiting

and diarrhea for days! He lost so much weight and they had to give

him an IV over and over since his veins kept giving out/going bad. I

was worried sick myself there for a while...he seemed to be fading

fast and I thought he might never be able to recuperate, BUT, as we

know our kids are fighters and have such an instinct to survive...plus

wiht the help of lots and lots of prayers he finally came around and

we were able to come home. He is still pretty weak and thinner than I

have ever seen him before, but thank God he got his tube in (that was

leaking too while we were in the hospital) so we can try to fatten him

up!

Jodi, I'll e-mail you seperately...thank you all so much for your

thoughts/prayers and support.

Glad to be home, and hopefully it'll stay that way for a while,

p.s. sorry I wasn't in touch more...I spent every night at the

hospital so I didn't have much contact with the outside world and I

was exhausted! :-(

Dear ,

I am so grateful to hear that all is getting better for you. I've been

worried by your silence. For good reason it sounds.

I'm sending love to you and all yours and kisses to . I hope you can

exhale and rest.

All my best to you. Hopefully this was the storm of storms with nothing but

smooth seas ahead.

Love,Kathy (JAck, 6, non-rss and Willie, 4, RSS)
