I too have to be careful: nuts! Nut flour/butter goodies= caloric. I have had intermittent success w sweet meringues, and a version of the Souffle Bread [? Marilyn's?] with Parm Cheese on top-- grated and sprinkled. Lots of flavor, few calories. Also, when in season, a go-to food for me: artichokes. And apples. Love to hear any other ideas that have been helpful! And to hear the docs tell it, I could lose it if I'd just stop stuffing my face and get on a good, healthy <blarg> diet with lots of starches. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
