Hi guys-

I wanted to share a couple snacks my son really loves that I get at the

Indian grocery. They are not for the health purist because they are

deep fried, but I don't mind because my son needs to put on some weight.

One is Patata Express by Laxmi Brand. Ingredients: potato flour, potato

starch, and salt. They fry up just like pringles - really a fast treat.

The other is papadams. These also fry up crispy. I don't have a

package in front of me, and there are many different brands, but they

are basically lentil (dal) flour and salt. They come in plain, black

pepper, and cumin seeded. Very yummy!

My wife and I like Indian food but we live in the country and there's no

grocery store anywhere around. Also didn't realize that stuff like papadams

were made with GF flour. Do you know of any way we order some of these

products online or by phone?
