Actually, half in jest, I'd guess, someone set up a DS_Petty_Crap

list. Not much activity, though. Combatants seem to prefer an

audience for their fighting.

It is unfortunate that the original poster deleted the letters I was

upset about. It was most definitely NOT lively and informative

discussion and argument that I objected to; it was the " you're

bitchy " -type personal attacks. I maintain my position that THOSE

types of posts should be taken to the private realm. Remember the old

line " Let's step outside " ?

Another member said it better than I can, but she was afraid to say

it publicly. Wonder why?

Interesting reactions to your " Fu~uck " post. My impression was that

the responders were not recognizing the differences between the posts

expressing a difference-of-opinion-based-on-some-kind-of-evidence,

which is a perfectly legitimate use of the forum, and the " Is

so! " " Is not! " jerkiness that went on and on, that you were objecting

to. I thought you were perfectly right, as did the newbie who posted

a response, and I'm sure we're not the only ones. I'm not brave

enough to jump in...

This is my last post on this subject. Hope it doesn't post twice, I'm

having computer troubles.
